| Need truly effective measures to attrract FDI Posted: 29 Jul 2010 01:25 AM PDT DAP National Deputy Chairman and MP for Kepong Dr Tan Seng Giaw reiterates that the Central Government would have to show the world that it is really serious about attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) such as RM115 billion investments annually as targeted in the Tenth Malaysia Plan (10MP). Dr Tan looks at the International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed's statement on Government Transformation Programme, the Economic Transformation Programme and the New Economic Model addressing the root causes of the slugish investments.  |
